Size & Care Tips

Dog Shirts

When your dog shirt arrives it will be a little stiff in the printed area. This will soften up after washing.

To get the best size shirt for a dog measure around your dog's chest at the widest point. Divide that number by 2 to get the chest width. Then add 1-2 inches depending on "fur fluff factor". Use this number to find your dog's chest width in the chart. When in doubt choose the larger size. My Japanese Chin is just under 9lbs and is 14 inches around the chest but she wears a medium, not a small as the size chart would suggest if you go by weight.

When I've seen Daschunds wear these shirts, their owners usually have to cut off the sleeves. If you can sew you can use a seam ripper to remove the sleeves and then hem the arm hole.

Women's Baseball T-Shirt (Jr. Raglan)

This is my favorite product for people as its soft and comfy and the extra sleeves keep you just a little warmer on a breezy spring day than a t-shirt. The size tends to run small so I recommend ordering 1 larger than what it says in the size chart for a comfy fit. The shirt does not shrink very much and the design is printed into the fabric so it will hold up well to washing.

Women's Cap-Sleeve T-Shirt

This shirt tends to run large so you can buy the size suggested on the size chart and machine-dry it and it will be sure to fit.

Women's Baby Doll T-Shirt

This t-shirt is soft and comfy. It will not shrink very much, but the sizes run small so I recommend ordering 1 size larger than what it says in the size chart for a comfy fit.

Women's Tank Top (Spaghetti Strap)

This runs small but stretches. I would get the size suggested on the size chart unless you are planning to wear it over other clothing.
